Summer is gradually drawing to its close, and Autumn is just around the corner, I thought I would share with you a few magical moments from the month of August ~ including, elegant decor, pretty pink vintage dress and more… ♡
Sometimes it can be difficult to find moments of joy in your every day but I would like to encourage you to try your best in doing so. Even if its just as simple as cosying up with a cup of tea and your favourite book, or wandering over to your favourite café and spending a morning in the library. There’s so much beauty we can find in the little moments…
I decided to finally update my room for the summer and to do so, I began by placing a few pieces of artwork upon my walls. The first picture is an illustration by Megan Hess – I received this piece around a year ago when I purchased a few items from her shop! It is ever so dreamy and features an elegant model clothed in a pink Giambattista Valli gown. The artwork which I placed beside it is an adorable Swan canvas from Wendy’s shop, I just adore the whimsical details adorning this illustration — it is truly magical.

Continuing with the bow-theme, the most recent vintage piece which I added to my collection is a dreamy light pink eyelet authentic 1950s dress from SIBVINTAGE. My father kindly gifted me this piece as a congratulations for the results from my second year at University. It is very reminiscent of the mid-1950s (think Sandy in Grease or Doris Day) and one of my favourite details is the pink satin bow belt which adds an extra feminine touch!

Too Faced will forever be my favourite make-up brand and I was so happy to finally purchase the new edition of their primed & poreless powder. The product offers a delicate, lightly powdered finish to any makeup to ensure that everything stays in place throughout the day. I particularly adore the light pink and gold packaging and the dainty little love-heart powder puff which is encased inside!
Anyone who knows me well will understand my love for Princess Aurora and I couldn’t resist purchasing this adorable, limited-edition Princess Aurora inspired tea from Disney Japan! The flavour is vanilla & peach and it arrived in the most beautiful collectors tin which I shall treasure forever….
Each time I visit Ladurée I always sample their Marie Antoinette tea and I was so happy to finally purchase their matching scented-candle. The candle blends rosebuds, honey and citrus fruits and is presented in pretty pink vessel with white Ladurée cameo…
