“On Christmas Day she awoke to the sweet sight of treasures hidden under the tree. Each one was delicately wrapped in soft swan wrapping paper. She was clothed in her dainty pink nightdress which reminded her of Clara, made herself a sweet vanilla latte and opened her gifts as the Nutcracker ballet played in the background“
Hello soft snow petals, I hope you’re having a splendid new year so far. Over the past few weeks I have tried to bask in the wonder of the holiday glow before it fades away…
Although I will miss the whimsy of winter, I am truly a spring bunny at heart and my birthday is also in April! I’m longing for… baby blue skies, the sight of hopping bunnies and lovely lambs, pastel-coloured mini egg chocolates, warm hot cross buns, daffodils, the fluttering of cherry blossom and of course, Easter! However, we still have a while until spring has sprung so I thought I would share the pretty pieces I received from my loved ones on Christmas Day…
I adore Kate Spade with all my heart; their brand embodies the femininity and daintiness which I attempt to emulate in my style and when I unboxed this beautiful bag, my heart was so happy!
The Margaux Leather Satchel has been on my wish list for quite some time and I managed to purchase it during the November sales.
My mother put it away for Christmas so it was rather exciting to finally see it in person. Mine is in the shade “tutu pink” which is the prettiest baby pink.
The bag has a pebbled effect and there are three sections which is perfect for anyone who loves to stay organised.
It also has two handles so that you may adjust it for different occasions ~ I think the luggage tag adds a sweet touch!
Gal Meets Glam release a new collection each month and when I heard they were creating sleepwear I was so overjoyed!
The range launched in November and I felt so blessed to receive their Blush Bow Pyjamas. They arrived inside the signature Gal Meets Glam pink box which is so dreamy!
The pyjamas are both cosy and beautiful ~ presented in a petal pink rose shade, printed with a dainty bow design and made from 100% cotton.
Every detail was thought of as they are wrapped in beautiful tissue paper and tied together with a soft satin ribbon.
As a dancer of ballet, anything which reminds me of this beautiful art-form is sure to steal my heart! As a dancer of ballet, anything which reminds me of this beautiful art-form is sure to steal my heart! I have been dreaming of this darling set of Swarovski crystal pointe shoes and I couldn’t quite believe it when I unboxed them.
They’re so elegant and will look perfect resting on my Parisian vanity table. Sparkling in clear crystal with pink crystal laces, the design features 188 delicate facets and is a real testament to Swarovski’s exquisite craftsmanship.
Viktor and Rolf always add the dreamiest, unique touches to their fragrances and I have longed for a limited edition Flowerbomb bottle for a few years.
Whilst shopping with my mother I selected the pearly pink bottle adorned with a pink carnation flower ~ it even came wrapped in the prettiest bow-adorned gift bag. Flowerbomb has a charming bouquet of floral notes, including jasmine, rose, freesia, orchids and patchouli ~ the perfect combination for spring…
Megan Hess is my favourite fashion illustrator ~ some of my favourite books of hers are Claris: the Chicest Mouse In Paris, Paris Through A Fashion Eye, Elegance: the Beauty of French Fashion ~ the latest addition to my collection is Coco Chanel: the Illustrated World of a Fashion Icon.
The book details the life of the infamous designer through an illustrated lens; discussing her beginnings as Gabrielle the orphan, her work as a milliner, opening her very first boutique at Rue Cambon, to later falling in love with Boy Capel (the inspiration behind her infamous Boy bag.)
Megan always creates a dream-like journey which we can escape to and I’m hoping she may release a book similar to this about Christian Dior.
It’s a little tradition for me to receive a Jellycat Bashful Bunny and last year I received the light pink version of their snow bunny.
This Christmas my brother kindly gifted me a sweet snowy white bunny ~ described as “shy and sweet”, the bashful snow bunny will keep you warm and toasty away from any frightful winter storm. “Snuggled in a creamy fluffy ribbon capelet, our bun is ready for a sleigh ride!”
I went ice-skating with my dear friend Victoria a few weeks ago at the Natural History Museum, and I have always wanted to own a pair of white skates…
Not only for pictures but also because a new indoor skating has just opened in my city!
One of my aims for twenty-twenty is to learn how to ice-skate and although I may be like Bambi on ice, at least I’ll be skating in style in my Oxelo skates with a white faux fur trim! They look very elegant and I adore the swirly details…
Sass and Belle is one of my favourite brands and I adore their swan range. I already own the Freya mug and Swan Christmas tree ornament; I was so pleased to find the Freya Swan trinket dish in my stocking!
It is presented in a delicate white, with gorgeous gold details on the feathers and beak. It is shaped as a graceful swan, decorated with pretty gold details and a powder pink inside.
Dior is my favourite brand for beauty and skincare, and I really wanted to try out the Diorlisse range for nails.
The ‘Diorlisse Abricot Ridge Filler’ helps to nourish, whiten and strengthen the nails from damage.
This product sounds like the best solution and the ballerina-esque packaging is a bonus! The shade I received was ‘pink petal’ which is perfect for creating an elegant look ~ each product from the range gives the nails a natural rose and apricot hue which will help to make you feel like a whimsical winter fairy.
I can’t wait to snuggle up in this pair of UGG knitted pink pom pom socks on a wintry evening.
I always see cosy photos on Pinterest of angels wearing their reading socks and I have always wanted my own pair. They have a chunky cable-knit yarn texture and a plush fleece lining which is perfect for the colder months.
Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite beauty brands and their Pillow Talk Diamonds edition is an utter dream! It is a rose-pink lipstick with a dreamy veil of golden sparkle. The formula is so creamy & dreamy ~ the scent also reminds me of vanilla cupcakes which is always a bonus.
Anyone that knows me well will understand my adoration for pink. However, I also love classic pieces in an elegant white shade so when I spotted the Elianah dress I immediately added it to my wish list.
The dress is actually part of Ted Baker’s Tie The Knot collection designed specifically for Brides To Be.
Nevertheless, I think its clean lines and elegant silhouette are perfect for anyone who wants to create a timeless look.
This skater-style dress has a feminine flair, with a dainty floral appliqué featured on the neck and waist; so beautiful!
The final piece is actually something I treated myself to during the Black Friday Sales…
I have been longing for a Classic Cashmere Check scarf from Burberry for many years but I could never justify the price! I remember seeing the beautiful Ash Rose on Freddy from Freddy My Love and falling in love even more…
Every sale season I noticed that the scarf would sometimes be discounted and I decided to save up my money and treat myself last winter! I asked the advice of the angels I trust online and they all said to go for the Pink Alabaster colour way instead of Ash Rose.
I’m so glad I followed their advice as I think the soft shades of pink and brown compliment my wardrobe perfectly! I managed to purchase the scarf for £280.00 instead of its original price of £350.00. I know that this is still rather pricey but it is very rare to find such a wonderful deal ~ particularly for a piece from their new collection. The scarf is super soft and 100% cashmere ~ I know it will be a piece I shall treasure in my collection for the rest of my life.
I truly hope you are having a wonderful year so far ~ I would love to know in the comments section some of the beautiful gifts you have received and what your plans are for twenty-twenty. … I’m sending so much love to you all from,
