When spring arrives, I love the feeling of being enveloped in a light, ethereal fragrance and Dior perfumes are my favourite.
Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is my signature scent and when I heard that a new perfume had been added to the Miss Dior collection, I was overjoyed!
François Demachy, the House of Dior’s parfumer, aimed to create a feeling of nature akin to, “when I was a child and first saw the fields of flowers blooming in may…” ♡
Each Miss Dior advert steals my heart – my favourite would have to be Miss Dior Cherié directed by Sofia Coppola…
The latest campaign features Natalie Portman dressed in the gown of my dreams – in the close-ups she caresses the may rose from Grasse, which is a signature bloom in the perfume.
Miss Dior’s party dress consists of layers of dusty rose, sheer tulle for the skirt, embroidered with hand-painted silk flowers. The sublime bustier was elegantly draped and frayed by the Dior Atelier seamstresses… I’m also smitten with the limited-edition bottle which features a delicate sequinned tulle bow to match the campaigns gown.
Described as “an iconic bow transformed into a poetic exercise in couture craftsmanship. An exceptional bottle celebrating both the abundant florals in Miss Dior Rose N’Roses and the countless intricate techniques in the Dior Ateliers.”

I purchased my perfume as a birthday gift to myself from the Dior counter in Harvey Nichols.
Upon approaching the Dior counter, I spotted their dreamy limited-edition gift-boxes for Mother’s Day and fell in love!
How sweet is this pink tulle tied in a bow…?
I adore the attention to detail which Dior dedicate to their packaging. It makes shopping with them so much more special!
The tissue paper is even embossed with a pink Dior logo print…
The box features a whimsical sprinkling of gold dust that shimmers with pink accents and is finished with a glittering ribbon.
I think that in this uncertain time, it is a lovely idea to have something to look forward to…
I saved this joy of unboxing my perfume so that I could experience it fully and immerse myself in the moment – I was so much more appreciative of the perfume and the process of unboxing it, in light of the circumstances we’re facing at the moment.

I heard of the Rose N’Roses scent from Dior, but this just takes me back to when I heard about it for the first time. The sweet, delicate words used to describe each small detail is so elegant and refreshing! I will love coming back to this post and read each word over again!
