Hello sweet peonies, I hope you are all well! I have been working on crafting a special and magical look book which I hope will brighten your day.
Today’s looks take their inspiration from my favourite Disney princesses – Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White, with each piece from the whimsical designer Fairytong.
Fairy Tong was founded by Yingtong Chung in London in 2020. The brand is inspired by all things elegant and magical! with feminine silhouettes, intricate details, tulle, lace and embroidery. The fanciful essence of each piece provides a allure of wonderment that when you step into a Fairy Tong garment you feel as though you have been transported into a new realm.
A detail which impressed me most about Fairy Tong was the quality of their pieces. As many of you probably know, I love to invest in pieces which last and have longevity – you can expect nothing less than perfection from this beautiful brands designs and I know you’ll love them as much as I do.
Each dress is lovingly made with time and care, mirroring the diligent work of the petites mains of haute couture. Thus each garment has a unique story which will help you to fulfil your own fairytale.
The array of pieces which I shall share with you today are from the Dream of Fairytale collection! Each dress is inspired by a classical princess and so you could select the one which matches your favourite fairytale heroine!
The first dress which I fell in love with was the Aurora butterfly dress ~ it has a fitted bodice with a full-flouncy skirt. The layers of pink tulle and intricate embroidery of sweet butterflies re-creates the wondrous walks in nature which princess Aurora experienced as Briar Rose. The sleeves flutter in the most whimsical manner and remind me of butterfly wings.
The second piece will make you dream of glass slippers, dainty blue birds and pretty pumpkins…
The Cinderella midi-dress is adorned with delicate lace and a dainty rose-bud design. Its floaty style reminds me of the wings of a bluebird ~ the puff-sleeves remind me of Cinderella’s dazzling evening gown and adds a touch of cottage core chic!
The final dress is inspired by the fairest one of all…Snow White
The Snow White dress is an ethereal, floral embroidered lace design. It reminds me so much of Eloise’s delicate Regency tea-dresses from Bridgerton. To add to this elegant design I decided to add my own pink satin belt for an extra regal look.
I also put together a little lookbook on my youtube channel where you can see the garments in motion and witness the ease with which they float and move in an enchanting reverie – I hope this can inspire you to add one of their darling dresses to your collection or even to just go into your own wardrobe and add a little piece of fairytale magic into every looks!
